staff was very very rude, food was bland pancakes were very dry, no syrup was offered or packed (2gomeal) no cutlery was supplied or offered. Bread not buttered, was pretty disappointed 😕 wouldn't try again.

My daughter, friend and I went there for lunch and we really enjoyed the experience. The food and service was great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Had the hot hamburg even though the burger was homemade was disappointed that it was frozen french fries and not fresh. Good service there breakfast looked good would like to try it

A local favorite with the basic bases covered. Good food, proper service and a fresh remodel inside. Great spot to start the day before the pace of the work day picks up.

From the service to the delicious hot meal, this is hands down the best breakfast /lunch spot in town!! Turkey bacon!!! Hashbrowns with extra "spice" hot eggs, and fresh coffee....nothing beats the Lancer!!

Ordered Sunday breakfast to be delivered due to the current world crisis. It was fast and delicious, exactly as if we were enjoying it in the restaurant! Remaining a loyal customer in these difficult times and thinking of our small businesses.

Always love coming here for breakfast but just had an unpleasant experience on the phone. As with most businesses during COVID-19 there’s a wait, so I called ahead to make to see if I could make a reservation and I was promptly told “we don’t do those we’ve never done those. So instead I asked what the approx wait time would be for my group and was told “I have absolutely no idea”. So again I ask, since reopening during coronavirus, what has been the common wait time/situation for waiting, and was told “you line up until there’s a table ready, when there’s a table ready you sit down at it”. I understand that employees don’t always have the answers, and business during COVID-19 is unpredictable, but as a customer to call for information and to be given no clear answer or constructive help was quite frustrating. I’m hoping it was just an off day for the employee.

They have their patios open with a cleaning regimen that would make anyone with concerns

Love this PLACE! It's nothing fancy, but it's a very reasonably priced cheerful clean place to go and EAT!! I'll eat here again and again and tell all my friends and family to do the same! Great place for Sunday brunch!

Great breakfast! We were so lucky to get Sandy as our server!! She was kind, friendly, quick , just a down to earth person who took the time with us. I dropped coffee on my white shirt she went immediately and got me a towel to clean off my shirt, she just went out of her way to make this such a positive experience for my daughter and I. Thank you Sandy and Lancer's is very lucky to have you as an employee.

This place has always and will always be the spot to get a great breakfast. Especially if you had one too many the night before 🍺 🍷 🍸. They have a special called the "recover breakfast". Comes with everything, even Gatorade! Yeah buddy!!!👍

Going to the Lance should be a part of every St. Catharines citizens duty, but really it is a a joy! Classic older style breakfast diner with friendly wait staff! Food is terrific. I loved the fish and chips! Go! Your bound to see someone you know,

I had a great meal with perfect service. This review might seem cliche but I guess that’s honesty for you. A moment to mention was immediate and congenial service from the dark haired waitress with a great smile. Will be back.

Had take out for breakfast skip the dishes... over 130bucks to feed 4 adults and 2 children...nothing to write home about..3 coffeees missing as well as bacon in one of the breakfast. Did i get compensated ?..no.. maybe its better if u eat in i guess.

Delicious food at an affordable price and kind, caring service. This is a go to place for us to come enjoy breakfast or lunch before heading out to our busy schedules.

My favorite is Steak and Eggs with their home fries.
